Questions
The things people ask us first
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. Scanning the table QR opens the ordering page in their phone’s browser. They can order without creating an account — signing in with their phone number is only needed for points and vouchers.
Can guests order in their own language?
Yes. The ordering pages ship in English, Malay and Chinese, and the guest can switch at any time without losing their cart.
We already take payment at the counter. Do we have to change that?
Not at all. Pay at counter is a supported option, so guests can order from the table and settle with your cashier exactly as they do now. Online payment methods are switched on per branch, whenever you are ready.
We run more than one outlet. Does that cost extra work?
SpacePos is multi-outlet from the ground up. Branches share a menu structure but keep their own pricing, tables, staff, tax settings and reporting, and you manage all of it from the same dashboard.
Is Malaysian e-invoicing handled?
Yes. Guests can request an e-invoice for their order and the submission to LHDN MyInvois is part of the flow, so your team is not re-keying anything.
What hardware do we need?
The POS runs on a standard tablet or terminal and works with the usual receipt printers and cash drawers. Tell us what you already own on the demo call and we will confirm what fits.
